Terms of Service

Welcome to CoTraveler. By accessing our platform and submitting application forms, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. The Exchange Model

CoTraveler is a non-monetary matchmaking platform. Travelers offer professional skills (e.g. content creation, translation, digital setup) directly to hosts. Hosts offer accommodation and meals. No salary or wage is paid by hosts to travelers, and no rental fee is paid by travelers to hosts.

2. Together Fund Coverage

The Together Fund provides transportation tickets (train or bus) and a small daily stipend for verified placements. The distribution of these funds is subject to coordinator approval and funding availability. Placements are not guaranteed for all matches.

3. Code of Conduct

Both travelers and hosts agree to respect local customs, cultures, and religious practices. In our operating countries, community standards in rural areas require conservative dress, respect for household rules, and general environmental consideration (no littering, reducing plastic waste).

4. Prohibited Placements

CoTraveler explicitly prohibits placements involving orphanages, schools as primary teachers without certification, or any roles that displace local, paid workers. We focus solely on digital capacity-building and host skill development.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we verify hosts and travelers, CoTraveler operates as a matchmaking facilitator. We are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or placement disagreements. Both parties sign a liability waiver during final match confirmation.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any traveler or host account/profile if they violate code of conduct rules or misrepresent their identity or qualifications.
